Salary: £31,100

Duties

• Working alongside the accountant in managing the financial affairs of organisations.
• Performing administrative tasks such as arranging payroll and administering payments for invoices.
• Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
• Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
• Recording and filing cash transactions.
• Invoice processing and filing.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
• Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
• Book-keeping tasks.
• Operating software packages to record and retrieve information, particularly through spreadsheets.
• Monitoring financial transactions.
• Preparing accounts, budgets, reports, and financial statements for clientele.
• Auditing internal and external accounts, and generating end of year calculations.
• Making sure that clients are compliant with current taxation legislation.

Skill, experience, and qualifications required:
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Dynamic problem-solving skills.
• Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.
• High level of accuracy.
• Extremely organised in a manner that is easily understood by others.
• Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
